Earthworks

You are about to carry out earthworks on public or private land.

Declaration of Intent to Carry Out Works

This process is mandatory, pursuant to Ministerial Order 66-009 of 4 January 1966 and Ministerial Order 74-292 of 14 June 1974, to allow contractors to know the location of the networks and the precautions that will need to be taken due to their presence in the vicinity of your work area.

This process must be carried out at least 10 clear days before the planned start date of the works (public holidays not included).

SMEG's response to a Declaration of Intent to Carry Out Works will concern the following networks:
- High-voltage 63,000-volt public electricity distribution networks.
- High-voltage 20,000-volt public electricity distribution networks.
- Low-voltage public electricity distribution networks.
- Public lighting electrical networks.
- Low- and medium-pressure public gas distribution networks.
- Urban public district heating and cooling distribution networks.
- GrDF-operated gas networks passing through the Principality of Monaco.

If you encounter any difficulties, contact SMEG directly by phone at
+377 92 05 05 11 or 06 43 91 81 30 or by email at dict@smeg.mc.

To help us respond to your request as effectively as possible, we recommend that you provide the most complete information possible. Any information request must be followed by a Declaration of Intent to Carry Out Works before the works begin

Please note
Without having first submitted an information request, this process may prove too late to optimally anticipate any difficulties related to the networks operated by SMEG. Such a situation could, as a matter of urgency, require a change to the planned method of operation, a change to the planned project, or the carrying out of additional works beyond those envisaged by the project owner. This is why SMEG encourages the project owner or project manager to submit an information request prior to the design phase of their projects.
