The gas rate varies according to your average annual consumption and the service chosen based on your usage.
The Gas Rate means:
A subscription based on annual consumption.
A single kWh price, 24 hours a day, every day of the year (excluding Gaz+).
Choice of services and uses
How is your natural gas consumption converted from m3 to kWh?
For natural gas, the meter records consumption in cubic meters (m3). A thermal coefficient (close to 12) varies depending on the origin of the natural gas (Netherlands, Norway, Algeria, Russia). It is used to convert m3 into kWh, the billing unit.

Services Catalog
This catalog constitutes SMEG's offering of technical interventions in its capacity as Operator of the Public Electricity and Natural Gas Distribution Network in the Principality of Monaco. SMEG reserves the right to make changes to the content of this catalog to reflect technical or regulatory developments.
Services are carried out on working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
Exceptionally, and subject to team availability, certain services may be carried out:
- on the day of the request, with a surcharge (Same-day commissioning or reconnection service).
- outside working days and hours, with a surcharge.
